麒麟，中国古代神话传说中的神兽，據說能活兩千年。雄的名麒，雌的名麟，合稱麒麟。性情溫和，不傷人畜，不踐踏花草，故稱為仁獸。

麒麟的形状像鹿，尾似牛尾，麒有独角，麟无角，口能吐火，聲音如雷。中国古代用麒麟象征祥瑞。相傳只在太平盛世，或世有聖人時此獸才會出現，亦作騏驎。

民間傳說麒麟會給人們帶來兒子，使家族興旺，因此有麒麟送子之說。传说中孔子的母亲生孔子前曾有麒麟现身。

明朝时郑和的船队航行到东非，曾带两只长颈鹿回到北京，被当时的人们认为是麒麟。明成祖以此祥瑞之兆来表明自己施政的伟大。

In the original Digimon Battle Pets games, Numemon was the weakest champion-level Digimon, but he was the only one with the potential to digivolve into the strongest ultimate-level Digimon: Teddymon

Digimon Adventure

The DigiDestined encountered the Numemon in the sewers after making it out of the factory that Andromon was in. Some were seen in fake vending machines where one of them tried to get a date with Mimi and got angry when she turned him down. The Numemon chased them, leading each of the DigiDestined into Monzaemon which scared the Numemon away. Monzaemon captured all the DigiDestined except Mimi and Palmon. The Numemon later appeared to protect Mimi from Monzaemon before Palmon Digivolved to Togemon and beat the Black Gear out of him. Later on, a bunch of Numemon worked on a ship run by Cockatrimon, a servant of Etemon who fled when Togemon knocked Cockatrimon into the ship's smoke stack. A bunch of Numemon were customers at Veggiemon and Digitamamon's diner and some were being trained by Nanimon for Myotismon's army. A bunch of Numemon were enslaved to WaruMonzaemon, a slavemaster working for Machinedramon. They were freed by Kari but they died at the hands of Machinedramon.

Digimon 02

On his first trip to the Digital World with T.K. and Kari, Davis encountered a vending machine filled with Numemon before they met up with Tai. Some Numemon assisted Davis and a bunch of RedVeggiemon in repairng the Digital World and getting Veemon to Digivolve to his Champion Form. A bunch of Numemon were among some Digimon who crashed Matt's concert at Christmas.

Digimon Tamers

A Numemon, alongside of a Veggiemon, was destroyed by Gorillamon.

Digimon Frontier

Some Numemon were seen at the Fortune Teller Village, the Autumn Leaf Fair and the Great Trailmon Race.

Digimon Savers

Masaru Daimon, Agumon, Yoshino Fujieda, Raramon, Tohma H. Norstein, and Gaomon encountered a Numemon fleeing into the sewers. It was destroyed by Lalamon.

Digimon Next

In a ruined town, 2 Numemon alongside a Bakemon, a Pagumon, and a Wormmon were running from an attacking Tankdramon. They were destroyed by Tankdramon.

Massie Township, one of eleven in Warren County, Ohio, is located in the northeast part of the county and the least populous of Warren County's townships. In 2000, the population was 1,061 up from 885 in 1990. The third smallest township in the county with 13,622 acres (55 km²), it was named for General Nathaniel Massie. It is the home of the Ohio Renaissance Festival and Caesar Creek State Park.

It is bounded on the north and west by Wayne Township; on the east by the Clinton County townships of Adams and Chester; and on the south by Washington Township.

It was created by the Warren County Commissioners on October 10, 1850 from parts of Wayne and Washington Townships. From 1806 to 1815 it was part of Eaton Township. The original boundary was "commencing at the point where the road from Wilmington to Lebanon crosses the Warren and Clinton County line, thence with said road to the line between Paul Vandervert and John Wilkinson; thence north, 80 1/2 degrees west to the southwest corner of THomas J. Fryer's 50 acre (200,000 m²) lot, in the line of Peter Mullenburgh's west survey; thence on said line to the corner of James Currie's survey; thence north, 30 degrees east to a sugar tree on the bank of Caesars Creek, opposite to the mouth Flat Fork; thence north, 10 degrees east to the Little Miami River, thence up said river to the Greene County line." On June 11, 1851, the boundary was changed to "commencing at the township line between Massie and Wayne, where it crosses Clement Reed's survey, thence running in a northeastern direction on the back line of the river survey, to the corner of Richard Anderson's survey, and thence on the southwest line of said survey to Caesars Creek, thence up said creek to the Clinton County line, and the part taken from Massie townshp to be attached to Wayne, where it formerly belonged."

A large part of the township was submerged in the 1960s and 1970s with the damming of Caesars Creek by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The village of Harveysburg is the only municipality within the township. The township is mostly in the Clinton-Massie Local School District but a part is in the Wayne Local School District.

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1. Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected township clerk, who serves a four-year term beginning on April 1 of the year after the election, which is held in November of the year before the presidential election. Vacancies in the clerkship or on the board of trustees are filled by the remaining trustees.

Massie Township is in the Waynesville and Clarksville telephone exchanges.

Name Origin

Tentacool's name is a variation on the word tentacle. The "-cool" suffix may refer to its being of the Water-type, and the fact it prefers water of that particular temperature. In the English translation, Tentacool was originally going to be called Jilly.

Appearance

Tentacool's appearance is based on the jellyfish. It has a light blue, bell-shaped gelatinous body, with two eyes and a pair of brown tentacles. It has a small red gem-like structure in the place where its forehead would be and two larger such "gems" on its sides.

Biology

Tentacool is an aquatic Pokémon, drifting aimlessly wherever the ocean waves and currents take it. It usually ends up in shallow waters, where it may be accidentally caught in the fishing lines of anglers. A more unfortunate development for the Tentacool is to end up on the shoreline and get stuck on the beach when low tide comes. Tentacool's body is largely composed of water, so if it is kept out of the sea for too long it will shrivel up and risk death from dehydration unless it is reintroduced to water on time.

Tentacool has two main weapons. The first is its toxic feelers, located at the tips of its tentacles. It uses them to stab anything it touches with stinging acid. Coupled with its excellent camouflage in the water, Tentacool can often remain undetected by swimmers right up to the moment it stings them. The second is its mysterious beams. Tentacool's gelatinous, watery body absorbs sunlight and refracts it within, producing beam energy it shoots from its clear, crystal-like eyes.

In the video games

Tentacool is available in all Pokémon games so far except for Pokémon Colosseum. In each of these games, it is extremely common in almost every single body of water. Its high frequency of appearance easily rivals that of Rattata's or Zubat's

Tentacool has decent speed and special attack and excellent special defense, with the rest of its stats being low. It learns many moves which affect attributes, such as Screech, Barrier or Bubblebeam. Usually its evolved form Tentacruel is used in battle, but Tentacool may also prove effective by poisoning the opponent and trapping it with Wrap. Hopefully, Tentacool's high defenses will enable it to survive until the opponent succumbs to the poison. However, this can be very annoying when you want to leave a battle with a wild one.

In the animé

Tentacool was featured in episode #19 (Tentacool and Tentacruel). Large groups of Tentacool were plaguing the Porta Vista resort and the resort's owner, the aptly named Nastina, was looking for Tentacool exterminators. Team Rocket was assigned the job, but only mananged to send the Tentacool into a rampage. With the intervention of Ash and his friends the conflict was resolved and the Tentacool returned peacefully to sea.

巴伐利亚王国是指1805年直至1918年王国被废除之前世袭的维特尔斯巴赫王朝统治巴伐利亚的王国。这王国是巴伐利亚历史上第二个王国，在约一千年前曾存在一个短暂由卡洛林王朝统治的巴伐利亚王国。

在1805年12月26日法国拿破仑和神聖羅馬帝國皇帝弗朗茨二世所签订的布拉迪斯拉发条约的条款之下决定，与拿破仑结盟的数个公国将擢升为王国。数个公国之一的选侯马克西米利安四世成为巴伐利亚王储，在1806年1月1日他正式登基为马克西米利安一世。

马克西米利安一世的继承人抗拒德国的民族主义，巴伐利亚成为了一些小国统治者免受德意志邦联中普鲁士或奥地利的恐吓的对抗者。直至普奥战争挫败前，宗教约束了王国与奥地利两国的接触。1866年8月22日路德维希二世与普鲁士签订同盟，实际上是让出了巴伐利亚的自主独立权。

荀悦（148年-209年），字仲豫，颖川颖阳（今河南许昌）人，东汉末史学家，儒学思想家，政治家。

士族出身，荀子13世孙。少丧父，家贫，却聪慧好学，博闻强记，过目成诵。汉灵帝时，宦官专权，托病隐居。后曹操荐举供职于其府，迁黄门侍郎、秘书监、侍中等职。汉献帝以班固《汉书》难读，命悦仿《左传》编纪传体撰《汉纪》。建安5年（200年），《汉纪》30卷成书。另著有《申鉴》5篇，《崇德》、《正论》等。

Abraham, Martin & John

"Abraham, Martin & John" was a 1968 song written by Richard Holler a tribute to the memories of icons of social change from Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr. and President John F. Kennedy. It was written as a response to the assassinations of King and Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.

Each of the first three verses features one of the men named in the song's title. After a bridge, the fourth and final verse mentions Robert Kennedy, and ends with a verbal image of him walking over a hill with the other three men.

The original version, recorded by Dion DiMucci, was an American Top 40 single in 1968. Other famous versions were recorded by Motown's Smokey Robinson & the Miracles (whose cover also became an American Top 40 single in 1968) and Marvin Gaye (whose cover became a top ten hit (#9) in England in 1970).

Gaye's version was never released in the U.S. as a single but was featured on his 1970 album, That's the Way Love Is, and which was one of his first experiments with social messages in his music which would catapult in his legendary 1971 album, What's Going On.

Ballville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandusky County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,255 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Ballville is located at 41°19′41″N, 83°8′5″W (41.328092, -83.134795)^GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.6 km² (3.0 mi²). 7.1 km² (2.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it (6.78%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census^GR2 of 2000, there were 3,255 people, 1,332 households, and 1,008 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 458.7/km² (1,187.0/mi²). There were 1,375 housing units at an average density of 193.8/km² (501.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 94.81% White, 1.26% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.74% Asian, 1.90% from other races, and 1.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.69% of the population.

There were 1,332 households out of which 27.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.0% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.3% were non-families. 21.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.80.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 21.8% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 29.0% from 45 to 64, and 20.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 91.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.7 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $49,261, and the median income for a family was $59,063. Males had a median income of $45,547 versus $31,532 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $29,272. About 4.6% of families and 5.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.6% of those under age 18 and 3.5% of those age 65 or over.
